Since the start of Project RoomKey (PRK) in March 2020, over 800 participants have been assisted with motel vouchers, providing temporary shelter and a safe space to sleep throughout the pandemic. In this brief video, Judith tells us in her own words how homelessness was not a choice and can affect anyone at any time. She shares her challenges, hopes and how thanks to PRK, she is getting back on her feet.

Mario was a hard-working traveling carnival worker when he found out his kidneys were failing.  Not being able to get back to work and travel regularly, he had no other option but to live in his car.  Thanks to Project RoomKey, Mario can now attend dialysis treatment regularly. This program has provided the stability he needed to dramatically improve his health and quality of life.  Here are Mario’s words as he shares his enthusiastic hope of getting back on his feet and finding a permanent place to call home.
