Since the start of Project RoomKey (PRK) in March 2020, over 800 participants have been assisted with motel vouchers, providing temporary shelter and a safe space to sleep throughout the pandemic. Mario was a hard-working traveling carnival worker when he found out his kidneys were failing. Not being able to get back to work and travel regularly, he had no other option but to live in his car. Thanks to Project RoomKey, Mario can now attend dialysis treatment regularly. This program has provided the stability he needed to dramatically improve his health and quality of life.
